Londiani Boys High School was started in 1966 as a mixed Harambee Secondary School but was taken over by government in 1970 thereby becoming a public school. In 2008, girls were separated leading to the establishment of Sacred Hill Girls Secondary School which is currently managed independently but with mutual relationship with the parent school.

At the moment the school is six streamed with a total population of over one thousand three hundred students supported by a strong team of teaching and non-teaching staff. The current teaching force stands at 59, inclusive TSC, B.O.M. and T.P. teachers.

Infrastructure expansion has been a key priority for the school since it is a pre-requisite for conducive teaching and learning environment. On this regard, the strategic plan 2012 – 2018 was marked with significant implementation of infrastructure projects such as the construction of storeyed tuition block, dormitories (14), acquisition of school bus and ICT equipment. Similarly, academic performance which is a key measure for effective teaching and learning experiences in the school has improved steadily over the years with the school achieving the set targets.
